The direct question raised by this controversy:

Should Michael Vick be allowed to play professional football?

Your outrage should not be directed at Michael Vick "the person", but rather at what Michael Vick REPRESENTS.

Before Michael Vick was found guilty of dog fighting, he represented a fine young Quarterback playing professional football in the NFL.

I light of THE FACTS, and now that his illness is exposed to the world, I think it is safe to assume that..

    what he "REPRESENTS", has changed.

Here is PRECISELY where people on both sides of the controversy LOSE FOCUS on the question.

Should Michael Vick be allowed to play professional football?

In spite of what you may see on this website, I am not here to bash "a sick person", only what that sick person NOW  "represents".
